Last Lesson to Primary Six Tuition Class

1. Motto: “Maths is easy and fun!”
- Importance of attitude & mind set
- “Attitude determines your altitude”
- My teaching philosophy: Spark your interest
- Understand the underlying concepts & apply in real life

2. Exercise: Practice makes perfect!
- Preparation is the key to success
- Preview before class, focus during class, revision after class
- “Pursue excellence, and success will follow”
- Keep trying. It’s okay to make mistakes, but you have to learn from mistakes
- If your left hand is tired, change using your right hand.

3. Correction: Keep learning, keep improving
- “Sky is the limit”
- Learn from mistakes, be it your own mistake, your friend’s mistake or others’ mistake
- Learn from  the best, the experts, the professionals and everyone else who are better than me
- Read. Books are the windows to the world of knowledge. Make reading a habit.
- Some skills that matter: note-taking, self-learning and self-reflecting

About homework, projects, or assignments, get them done as soon as possible. If not, they are distractions to your fun and your holidays.

About talents, everyone is good at least one thing. Hard-works triumph talents. Put in 10x effort than the talented ones.
